Hi, I’m Laura Grant.
My practice was built on a commitment to providing high-quality, effective care. I believe meaningful change happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship and evidence-based treatment that work for the individual.
My Background
Originally from the upstate of Greenville, South Carolina, I moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 2012, where I’ve built both my life and my therapy practice. As a provider, I have over 15+ years of clinical experience in residential, group, and individual settings, starting my private practice in 2016.
I specialize in evidence-based, trauma-informed care using specialty CBT-based treatments such as ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), DBT, and ACT. As a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s (IOCDF) Behavior Therapy Training Institute for both adult and pediatric populations, I primarily work with older adolescents and adults navigating OCD and related conditions, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and emotional dysregulation. In addition, I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and a strong interest in how hormones and autoimmune conditions can impact mental health.
I have an extensive background of offering full model Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and taught DBT skills groups for many years. Currently, I offer DBT-informed treatment and treat many individuals who have completed Stage One DBT.

My Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Clients often describe me as validating and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and respected.
Together, we will clarify what you’re experiencing, identify your goals, and build practical, evidence-based skills to help you feel more grounded and empowered as you move forward.
I also believe therapy works best when we make room for imperfection, both in ourselves and in the process. Progress is rarely linear, and treatment is not about doing it perfectly. It is about practicing and experimenting with new ways of responding with curiosity, courage, acceptance and self-compassion.
When I’m not working, you can find me taking weekend adventures, spending time with my friends and family, listening to Dolly Parton, or taking photos of orca whales (as seen above) in the San Juan Islands, my happy place.
